Dr. Sara Lange, MD

Sara S. Lange, MD, is an experienced, award-winning gynecologic oncologist with the AdventHealth Cancer Institute Shawnee Mission. She provides treatment for all types of gynecologic malignancies and performs laparoscopic and da Vinci Surgical System® robotic procedures. In addition to her work in direct patient care, she also serves as the chair of the cancer committee for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.Dr. Lange earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed her residency at Carolinas Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including service as chief administrative resident. She then completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Washington University in St. Louis. She is Board-certified in gynecologic oncology and obstetrics & gynecology.Dr. Lange has earned a number of professional honors, including being named a Felix Rutledge Fellow at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and a Top Doctor by Kansas City …magazine. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
