Terrible. Lied to me about having researched an FDA-approved antidepressant that had brought me great benefit in the past. Dismissively said that Kaiser "doesn't do new and shiny" and stated that her profession had little to say to sufferers of my condition. My research showed many pages of pertinent results on the National Institutes of Health "PubMed" database. Unbelievable unprofessionalism: depressed, I gave up. But I have now talked to two prospective clients of hers and they will not seek her services. I have the Kaiser messaging system messages that prove my assertions. Now that I am on aforesaid antidepressant, my power of fighting bullies is refreshed and I will be reporting this to the listed authorities. Dr. Lerner is a terrible doctor. She’s completely ignorant to standards professionalism in her practice, as well as the basic fundamentals of the neuroscience underpinning psychiatry. Instead, she preys on her patients using emotional manipulation, along disrespectful and degrading tactics to develop dependent relationships for her own financial gain. Dr. Lerner is bad person and a bad psychiatrist - avoid her if you can help it.

Dr. Lerner is caring, compassionate and very experienced in her field. She is a great listener and takes time to understand her patients. I highly recommend her!

She said on the phone "I wouldn't have answers, but I was expecting another call" she is not responsive and she prescribes extremely high doses of dangerous meds.

She is very cold and unwilling to hear any suggestions but her own. Gave her a few tries, but I will never go back to her again. Felt worse than I did when I started seeing her. Go elsewhere!!!!
