Summary
I chose internal medicine because it provides me the opportunity to develop a relationship with my patients while working with them to prevent disease or in the management of chronic disease. I also enjoy educating patients about their health so that they my play a more active role in their care. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and gardening. My husband and I also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking or running with our dog.
