Dr. Sara Joy Meadows, DO

Dr Meadows listened to me and was able to solve my discomfort. I am very please with her as a Doctor and would encourage anyone having difficulty of the Orthoperic nature to see her. If she is unable to help Dr Meadows refers the patient i.e. Me to a other Doctor that solved the particular problem Dr Meadows was unable to address.

I was referred to Sara Meadows for consultation related to low back and hip pain as well as pain in my legs that wakes me up at night. I came prepared with copies of prior medical records and several MRI images on CD. She refused to review the reports I brought but within less than ten minutes, she came to the conclusion that, other than arthritis in my hip, my pain was in my head. Well...a second opinion revealed spinal stenosis at an exiting nerve root is most likely contributing to my leg, back, and hip pain. Had she took the time to review my file she might have at least had a differential diagnosis. Instead, her erogance got in the way of a thorough medical evaluation. I would not recommend Sara Meadows to anyone.

Unlike the other two reviews on this site, I have had an awesome experience with Dr. Meadows. I have found her to be truly personable and a very caring doctor. She spends as much time as possible with you, which I appreciate it. I have never waited very long in the waiting room. At most 15 minutes which I don't consider long at all. Her assistant, Larry is also wonderful. He is always right on top of things whether it's setting up an MRI or returning your phone call. I have even had the MRI facility call me as I was leaving the office to schedule my MRI. As I said, very much on top of things at all times. The other thing that I would like to mention is that there are times when a doctor must squeeze a patient in due to them being involved in an accident, etc. When that happens, sometimes you might have to wait however, if it were your family member you would want that same exact kind of treatment. This office has always been available when I have needed them. Excellent… experience and I often recommend them to others.

Provider is always 45-60 minutes late. No time management skills and total lack of respect for her patient's time.
