Dr. Sara Newman

Sara Newman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LiSW-S ) with over 18 years of clinical experience in community mental health and private practice. She provides individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults, with specialty areas that include anxiety and depression issues, mindfulness, relaxation training, developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Sara holds two undergraduate degrees in Music and Psychology from Baldwin Wallace College and a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University. She has experience in using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness interventions with clients. She also has completed training in yoga and incorporates mind body interventions into counseling. Life can be challenging and difficult to navigate.
