Maybe it's the condition that I have, but I left there with little to no hope of the issue being resolved other than we just have to wait and see. For me that is tough as I am a very binary person and like more concrete answers. To be honest, I really don't know what I am going to do because I like to run and feel like I may never be able to run again. Ever since I had this appointment I have been wearing a brace, applying voltaren 3-4 times a day and I feel like my condition is worsening. I have PT scheduled in a couple of weeks so hopefully that will help. But in short I have never left UVA feeling as if I don't really know what is going to happen or if this will improve.

I finally feel like someone listened to me and although she wasn't 100% sure of the cause of my pain, she told me what she thought was happening and offered several different treatment options.

Dr. Raiser seemed very concerned about my situation but did not think it was very serious for me. It's serious because it hurts so much and it's making me not be able to do the stuff I love to do I want a solution.
