Dr. Sara Robinson, MD

I wish I never met Dr. Robinson, because that would mean I never got cancer. As a healthy guy in my mid-thirties, I certainly wasn't expecting to need an oncologist, and it was very hard walking into her office within a week of being diagnosed. But if you are facing the unfortunate diagnosis of cancer, Dr. Robinson is a great oncologist to work with. She has a caring demeanor and is clearly very knowledgeable in her field. Her practice is very busy (apparently cancer is popular), so there have been times when quicker response times would have been great, but I'm sure she is doing her best with a demanding situation (lots of patients in any given day need her, etc.). In my case, I felt reassured because Dr. Robinson discussed a collaborative approach to my treatment. Cancer is a huge field with new developments all the time, so it was nice to know I have a doctor that works within a larger group of specialists and is open to new information. My cancer turned out to be something she… was familiar with and could offer the latest and most effective treatments. However, I am confident that if the diagnosis had been something more rare or difficult to treat, she would have had no problem recommending a different specialist or treatment center. Overall, I can strongly recommend her.

Dr. Robinson listened to me and made me feel very validated during my visit. I will definitely be coming back!
