Dr. Sara Gobst Rosenberg

I first met Dr. Rosenberg as an inpatient at the Renfrew Center where I was being treated for an eating disorder. She was the psychiatrist assigned to me and her primary function was to monitor/adjust my medication and supervise the therapist with whom I was working. Though she can at first appear a bit gruff, I liked Sara Rosenberg from the start. She's a very bright woman and was always two steps ahead of me, if not more. Our relationship evolved over my stay at Renfrew and, by discharge, I had become one of her private patients, seeing her not only for meds, but for therapy as well.Simply put: I owe my life to Sara Rosenberg. She has pushed me, challenged me and helped me to become the woman I am today. She is kind, funny, compassion and fiercely intelligent - so much so that she will not let me get away with my b.s.. Trust me, she will always call her patients on it. I have been in recovery from my eating disorder for over a decade now and, though I still battle depression and… anxiety, there are no words to sufficiently describe how vital to my success Sara Rosenberg has been. She's saved me from and helped me get to know myself - a feat for which I will always be grateful.If you are committed to conquering your eating disorder, there is no better doctor out there.
