Dr. Sara Chilton Scheid, MD

I can’t tell you how flipping amazing this superdoc is. She is caring and a badass all at the same time. My daughter age 7 loves her. And she doesn’t mind going to her even though she has had to have her tonsils out. She lets Dr. Scheid do whatever she needs to do and let me tell you that’s saying something because my daughter is a nightmare at most doctors appointments.

Dr. Sara Scheid, board certified in Otolaryngology and a surgeon, has been an enormous asset to my family for over ten years. She has gone above and beyond in the ways we have been treated, whether it was allergies, to sleep quality, and specific assistance in securing appropriate care. She is always very responsive and caring, and always eager to help however she can. Her skill and expertise is unparalleled. Having had many medical experiences, I can confidently say she is one of the best doctors I have known.

Love her! She did a great job and she is so sweet. Caring and obviously loves her job.

She is everything you want in a doctor that has to take your child to surgery. She cared for my daughter like she was her own. I literally love her!

Dr. Sara is a wonderful ENt. She took great care of me when I was diagnosed with a tumor in my neck. I was terrified but she was very reassuring. Dr Scheid did a biopsy and eventually a surgery to remove the tumor. It was fortunately benign and I did great! I am very grateful to her.

Dr. Sara Scheid is exceptional. Her attention to detail saved my life. I was having problems with my throat and had seen several other doctors, who told me it was nothing to worry about. She listened to me and took me seriously. She did a complete work up and found out that I had a thyroid mass. Lucky for me she found it and it was a tumor. She did surgery and removed the tumor and I am now cured but if it hadn’t been for her, I wouldn’t have found out until it was too late.

Dr Scheid did tubes and tonsils on my youngest child. Before the surgery she was having constant ear infections and strep, missing lots of school. She wasn’t sleeping well at all. Her grades suffered. Dr. Scheid was very reassuring and did a fantastic job with her surgery. She was there for us with all of our questions. Everything went perfectly. My daughter is sleeping better, no more infections, and her grades have improved (not sure if that is from the surgery or not!) I highly recommend Dr. Scheid

She took good care of my daughter and got her sinus infections under control, but really didn’t have a plan for her in terms of going off to college. This, unfortunately, coincided with a major disruption in Dr. Scheid ‘S life that seems to have included dissolution of her practice, divorce and bankruptcy. We are sorry for her but, this adversely affected my daughter since it has been impossible to get medical records which complicates her care while away at college. We tried to see Dr. Scheid when my daughter was home over Columbus Day and waited for the appointment anxiously, only to have Dr. Scheid cancel the appointment because she decided to operate that day instead. There is so much chaos with Dr. Scheid it feels like she abandoned my daughter and We will NEVER have anything to do with her again!

Sarah is an amazing doctor. She is so caring and kind. Took care of my kids like they were her own. It takes a lot to let someone operate on your baby, but I have complete trust in her. She is skilled and helped both of my kids.

I am a 47 year old male who needed to have my tonsils removed. I had tonsillitis and strep throat 8 times in 2012. I put the surgery off for months because the recovery from this procedure as an adult is difficult. After researching the recovery online and via friends who had the surgery, I was not looking forward to it. I went to Dr. Scheid because she has a private practice. Her office was great and very relaxing. Her staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My surgery was scheduled quickly and the member of Scheids staff who booked my surgery was very specific about what the surgery would be like and she informed me of everything I needed to know regarding how to best care for myself after the surgery. I felt extremely informed and This was a first in my history of dealing with a surgeon. The surgery was quick and my pain for the following week was minimal. Dr. Scheid was active in making sure the medications she had prescribed for me were working well and I have to say the… recovery was only slightly uncomfortable but very manageable. I would highly recommend This Dr. For any issues involving the ear nose and throat. She also runs a sleep clinic that I am sure is very helpful for those who may need it based on her and her staffs professionalism and knowledge.
