Dr. Sarah Ann Baicy

I really wanted to like this dental practice and establish a new dentist in town. However, I was concerned whether my "white" composite fillings were covered under my dental plan and was told that it would be by the billing coordinator, Shelly. I even brought in a printout of my plan telling her that I didn't think it was covered, but she assured me it was so I allowed the work. Well a few weeks later, Shelly calls me to tell me that I owe over 3 times what was estimated! The composite filling was NOT covered, therefore no one bothered to see if it was approved or not! Zero responsibility was taken by Dr. Baicy's staff as I insisted that I only wanted the composite filling if it was approved under my insurance plan prior to getting the work done. I was just told a bunch of denial, backpedaling and that the initial charge was just an estimate (hey btw, estimates are never over x3 the initial payment!). I still had future appointments and needed 2 crowns. Needless to say, I cancelled my… future appointments since I clearly could never trust another "estimate" this office would give me. My new dentist has been precise every step of the way when it comes to approvals, billing and dental work.
