Dr. Sarah Elizabeth Baker, DO

I have never been spoken to by a doctor the way Dr. Baker spoke to me. She has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. She barged into the exam room, did not introduce herself, and before hearing from me about my symptoms or examining me, she decided that I wasn't sick and did not need antibiotics. After missing two weeks of work for the flu which turned into a bad sinus infection and ear infection, she accused me of not taking enough time to recover naturally, of not treating myself with over the counter medication (which I had been doing for over two weeks), and then reluctantly wrote me a Rx for the antibiotics I badly needed. I went to the pharmacy to fill the Rx and told the pharmacist what had just happened with the doctor. Get this: her note to the pharmacist read: "DO NOT FILL THIS Rx. This is a wait and see prescription. PT will fill Rx ONLY if needed." Well, the Rx is needed and so is an adjustment to Dr. Baker's attitude and bedside manner.

Openly demonstrated condescending attitude toward perceived immigrant patient. Insensitive and apathetic. Unprofessional and disappointing.

Unknowledgeable and unprofessional.
