Dr. Sarah L. Blair, MD

After the case of a patient who passed away due to Stage IV breast cancer in 2015, Dr. Blair has become the leader and model for other breast oncologists working in San Diego County. If you read the story of Mrs. Barbara Kastan, you will begin to understand why Dr. Blair is a superstar within the UCSDHealth system. In 2016 the surgical resection of breast cancer had at the time the best chance of cure and was better than hormonal treatment alone, even in patients over age 80. I understand that Dr. Blair’s began to make propaganda after the horror story of her patient became public. No wonder the UCSDHealth system suffers from low morale. I had a very good experience with Sarah Blair, I had gone to another doctor who wanted to do radical surgery first and came to her next. She listened to my concerns and came up with a good alternative plan for me. She also did a great job on the surgery.

Dr. Blair is a very welcoming dentist. I have received excellent care. If you have any questions about a procedure she explains it fully. I would recommend Dr. Blair to family and friends.

If you have breast cancer, be sure to talk to them before making decisions about treatment. They are great. Programs may sound the same but they are not.

I recommend her highly to anyone. Honestly, I would give her five stars across the board. I felt she was competent and focused, as well as compassionate, having my best interests always throughout my entire ordeal. she is an excellent skilled surgeon you can be reassured that you can trust and take seriously. I felt grateful to have her my oncology surgeon.
