Dr. Sarah Elizabeth Bogle, MD

She is very rude and has the worst bed side manner!

I ended up in the ER following my pcp instructions. I saw Dr. Bogle for a total of less than 5 minutes during my 4 hour stay. She seemed disinterested in listening to my reason for being there. I had taken great care to bring with me any and all information and abnormal specimens in the hope it would help identify an answer to my problem. After a CT scan, I waited for her to come in and explain the results. That didn’t happen, instead a discharge person came in and said I could go. No explanation, no communication of the results of my tests. When this person sent Dr. Bogle in, she stood in the doorway and said she didn’t see anything on the.CT and walked out. That was it. No further information, didn’t ask if I had any questions, just walked out. I also had to ask that my IV be removed, as they evidently don’t know to this before they tell you to go home. No concern shown by this doctor and never once did she even feel my abdomen where the pain is. I felt dismissed and I… wasn’t taken seriously at all. The RN was the only one who took any time at all with me. If this is what the medical community has reduced itself to, God help us.

My husband received prompt attention from Dr Bogle with all tests and diagnostics I would have expected based on his symptoms and condition. All my questions were answered and her demeanor was professional. I'm never disappointed at this ER or at the hospital. I think Sacred Heart is the best. Appointment time is not applicable as this is the ER. Neither is wait time applicable. Each staff member, nurses, lab techs, x-ray techs, was very friendly and very courteous.

If you want an accurate diagnosis, to be treated with respect, to be listened to, and to figure out what is wrong, DO NOT visit this doctor. Because what was wrong with me and what was causing my trouble wasn't right in front of her slapping her in the face, she told me that because the couple tests that she had done were normal, that she was sending me home and to go see another doctor. Meanwhile, I am in pain, can't eat, can't drink, and can't sleep.
