Dr. Sarah E Debord, DO

I went to the ED in severe abdominal pain and was initially treated by another doctor whose shift apparently ended while I was there. She took over and without even introducing herself said I was being discharged with no pain treatment or diagnosis other than "there's a virus going around" and that was probably it. I explained that this was a recurring problem (for years) and the previous doctor had a different opinion which she simply laughed at and left without explaining anything they had found. Perhaps discharging me was the correct decision - after all, I didn't die, but the way she laughed in my face when I was in severe pain is something I will never forget and has broken any trust I had in UCHealth before that. She should have at least introduced herself, discussed test results and asked if I had any questions before announcing I had to leave in pain and laughing at me. How does that not violate the Hippocratic Oath? Other times I have been to PVH sall the medical… professional were professional - except her.
