Dr. Sarah Hack Fenton, MD

Took a lot of time. Explained my condition well.

Do not trust this cardiologist. She is rude, uncaring, and treats patients like their are at fault for having heart problems or are lying about their conditions.

I was actually searching for something else, and Dr. Fenton''s name popped up. She was my father's cardiologist when she was at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. I have to say my father was every doctor's nightmare patient! Dr Fenton was just the nicest sweetest Dr he ever had and he had many! She always had time not only for him, but for me! Even when he was in hospital for 2 nights before he died she came and saw him and his family and also sent a lovely card after he passed away. I don't know who you guys are rating! First of all I had to wait five weeks before I had my first test. No one called me after I had my first set of tests. Finally, I contacted the doctor office. I was seen by the nurse practitioner who told me I needed a second set of tests. I had the tests and had to wait about four more weeks to see the doctor. She was impatient and acted like I was wasting her time. She also told me the other cardiologist in the office and the nurse practitioner misread the first tests, and I did not need the second tests. I did not feel comfortable with her at all. I would recommend her or the other cardiologist who shares the same office. I had to wait three months after an abnormal EKG before I finally saw one of cardiologist. I would rather go to another cardiologist in town, go out of town or even out of state before I would go back to her.

she has no bedside manner at all.

Dr Fento took the time to thoroughly answer my questions. She was very pleasant and easy to talk with. She explained everything in words I can understand.

I would tell a friend to find a different cardiologist. My office visit with Dr. Fenton was very uncomfortable. She seemed impatient and annoyed with me as she explained the results of the test. I was listening intently but she felt I "was looking at her as though she had two heads." I don't know about the accuracy of the diagnosis and I did not/would not have a follow-up visit. I've seen many doctors over the years and this one needlessly brought me to tears.
