Dr. Sarah Grahn, MD

Dr. Sarah W. Grahn is a dual board-certified colorectal surgeon at Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates, a division of Minnesota Oncology. She is certified by both the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Grahn completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. She completed her general surgery residency training with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) East Bay program, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Grahn is an active member of the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Society of Surgeons of the Alimentary Tract, and the Minnesota Medical Association.

Dr. Grahn’s clinical practice is dedicated to comprehensive, patient-centered colorectal care. Her clinical focus centers on laparoscopic and minimally invasive colon and …rectal surgery, the multidisciplinary management of colon and rectal cancer, and advanced surgical care for inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. By utilizing advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Grahn provides precise operative interventions that minimize surgical trauma, reduce postoperative discomfort, shorten hospital stays, and facilitate a smoother, faster return to daily living.
