Sara was to evaluate an elder family member's "brain function" for Alzheimers or Dimentia. She contorted everything that was said to her in a 1 hour visit. Told my family member she felt a voluntary 3 day commitment was in order. Convinced my elderly family member to sign for 3 day voluntary commitment. Did not speak with any other family before signing. Family notified only after everything was signed. Sara didn't have my family member sign a VOLUNTARY commitment. They signed a PEC. Shipped the family member off in an ambulance to the hospital. Hospital wouldn't even confirm my family member was there. Was told they had no record of my family member. "They were never there." I had to tell them I was filing a missing person's report before they gave me the truth. Family was to be released after 72 hours. Was denied most of their rights guaranteed by Louisiana statute RS: 28:171. Sara's poor diagnoses started this mess. Now our family is stuck in a living nightmare.
