Dr. Sarah Anne Hensley

My PCP referred me to this group. I was thrilled when the referral department called to tell me that they had an appointment available with Dr. Hensley for the next day. So today I go to the office. Wait time was very short. It was less than 5 minutes in the room from when the assistant took vitals etc until Dr. Hensley came into the room right on time for my appointment. She sat on the stool, I was in a chair. We spoke for less than 5 minutes about my symptoms, she gave me an order for physical therapy, told me to come back in about 6 weeks to see what improvement I've made, then got up and left the room. ABSOLUTELY NEVER LAID A HAND ON ME TO EXAMINE ME!!! Like what the hell??? She also never discussed my MRI findings with me as it relates to the problem I was being seen for. I have findings on my MRI (from my own review) of spinal stenosis and facet arthritis. She never did any strength testing, any spinal examination, nothing. How will you know if I'm any better? Also,… having been in a healthcare front office setting for over 45 years at this point, I am familiar with billing codes and what they are planning to bill my AARP United Healthcare Medicare replacement plan is FRAUD. I have already called UHC to file a complaint about this and will follow up next week to see what billing code was actually submitted. The code they circled calls for a detailed examination per the Medicare billing guidelines. Not only is this insurance fraud, but piss poor patient care. My daughter is under the care of another physician in this practice and has nothing but good things to say about her physician. The office manager offered to let me change physicians, which I will do, only because it is so difficult to get in to see a pain management specialist with appointments out for weeks if not months.

She is a wonderful listener and even if other drs say there's nothing more they can do she just keeps on trying!
