Wow I should have read these reviews before scheduling with this Dr. I can’t tell you how awful my visit went. Childish behavior from a doctor. Worst experience I’ve ever with a doctor and for me to complain on a message board to warn others, trust me it was bad.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hyder!! Her staff at RI Hospital was wonderful. She talked with me before the colonoscopy and explained everything and I met with her after the colonoscopy!!! She fully explained what she did and encouraged me to contact her if I had any issues or questions!!! I felt very comfortable with her - she was very easy to talk with- I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!! Thank you Dr. Hyder!!! No one looks forward to a colonoscopy but it needs to happen and you reassured me throughout the whole process!!!

It's certainly not uncommon to be treated poorly when you approach the front desk of a doctor's office these days. Therefore, it wasn't a surprise when the staff was aloof upon my arrival as a new patient at Dr. Hyder's office. After waiting over a half hour, I approached the desk to ask about when I might be taken back? It was at that point that I was told that Dr. Hyder wasn't even there! She was running late from a surgery at a different location. My appointment was 9:30am? I waited two months for the appointment only to be let down by staff and physician. Where I work, kindness and respect are a must! We greet our guests with a smile, we don't let them wait 30+ minutes and we most certainly would alert them immediately should there be an unexpected delay. All I can say is "no thank you".

Had colonoscopy with very little sedation. Was awake for the entire procedure and felt every bit of it. Excruciating pain! Dr Hyder left the room after and never heard from her again. Won't be going back !

What a waste of time. I am looking now for another doctor. Wait time staff and the do tor hmmm well the doctor. Not worth the hassle to see or wait for. No thank you not for me.

Dr. Hyder is professional, engaging, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She calmed my fears about my pancreas immediately. I've never had to wait to see her. Her staff are conscientious and kind. I highly recommend her.

She takes the time to explain the procedures and reassures the patient with positive thoughts. A true professional.

No follow up call after canceling my appointment. Don't bother calling, I've found a new Dr. when a Dr. Says they'll call because they canceled your appointment I'd assume they have a fiduciary duty to make good with their patients.

Disgusting, canceled appointment and rescheduled appointment had to wait 35 minutes. Pretty face and a smile won't get you anywhere in the world of medicine. Try being more attentive to your patients needs, concerns and treat them how you'd expect to be treated if you were the patient. I don't care if you've moved facilities, you had the opportunity to rectify the situation and at minimum run over and speak with me and explain I'm sorry can we reschedule or could you wait a bit longer and I will still see you. No respect, no concern , and total disregard for ones health concerns. If I could score less than 1 star I would. You picked the wrong field!
