She wanted me to have this huge surgery and she couldn’t be bothered to examine me first She basically wanted me to have surgery because she had a “hunch”. She wouldn’t let me see my ultrasounds or test results and wouldn’t answer any of my questions. I finally got so fed up I got a second opinion and found out everything she said was a big fat lie. Don’t waste your time or money on her she isn’t worth it!

I am in my late 40's and was feeling a bit off. I had some memory issues, trouble concentrating on my work and a bit of discomfort with my body (frequent, heavy periods plus aches and pains) and in general...getting older. I thought to myself, this MUST be menopause. I met with Dr. Kaplan and she listened to my long list of concerns and problems. I was very adamant about not going back onto birth control to manage through the periods. She was extremely helpful in giving me advice on how to handle the "crazies" as I call them as well as helping to relieve my body issues. She gave me some over the counter supplements to try out and that helped me to get right back on track. It's been about 3 months now and I feel great, memory and focus are strong and body issues are much, much less. I am very happy with the plan she has me on. Cannot wait for the next visit!. I've always found Dr Kaplan to take my concerns seriously and her follow up (ie tests, surgery)were appropriate for the circumstance I experienced. She has a friendly, efficient bedside manner.

I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about. I've been a patient of Dr Streitz-Kaplan for many years and she's always personable, caring, warm. She always takes the time to answer my questions and explain things. I've recommended her to many of my friends.

I was a patient of hers and she didn't do anything to help me. I went to her sick and scared and didn't do a thing to help me. All she tried to do was scared me into some surgery that cost over $14 grand. She told me if I didn't have the surgery I would never have children. And she NEVER EXAMINED ME!!! SHE NEVER LAID ONE FINGER ON ME!!! She wouldn't listen to me she never answered my questions and I finally so got fed up and got a second opinion. Turns out everything she told me was a LIE!!! I'm very surprized she hasn't been sued yet and lost her licence. I hope you never get as sick and scared as I was and have to see a quack of a docotor like her. Maybe then you will understand what I went through! Thanks for listening.
