I just attended an appointment that my disabled mother had with Dr. Nester. She was attentive, specific, and kind. It was a very good experience and my mother will definitely return.

If you need a doctor, “go to Urgent Care or the Emergency Room”. This was Dr. Nester’s advice. I have recurring diverticulitis and in past have taken antibiotics to clear it up. My previous PCP had no issue prescribing meds when I needed them. I previously have had a Colonoscopy, MRI and CT scan to verify the diagnosis of Diverticulitis. I know my body (I’m 73 yrs old) and can now recognize diverticulitis when I have severe pain in the exact same spot —in the lower left portion of my stomach. It’s all in My Chart. So, it makes NO sense to me to start at Square 1 each time it occurs. Dr. Nester could care less about my severe pain…..and how long it would take to 1) get an appointment with her and 2) get the antibiotics to get rid of the inflammation. By that time it would not be an issue. I simply don’t need a doctor who doesn’t listen and won’t read my chart re previous bouts of diverticulitis. She certainly has no empathy for the pain I’m in when it flares. You can find a better… doctor!
