Dr. Sarah Lynn Oberste, DO

Dr. Oberste is a very warm and caring doctor that I am so glad is taking care of me. She is so easy to talk to about anything! I appreciate her very much.

I had been seeing this doctor for about a year and she was pretty good at spending time with me up until the last few visits. Her nurse (aide) had the personality of a rock and made me feel very uncomfortable by questioning everything that I would tell her about my condition or how I felt and had a smug attitude which in turn I expressed to the dr and she agreed that she knew that and advised me to make a complaint by the survey's they send out after every visit. I hung in there and thought to give her the benefit of the doubt. Never filled out the survey to complain.... Gave her chance after chance. But then I came in the last time and the nurse took my bp but failed to take my temperature. The dr came in to see me and proceeded to tell me that I had a sinus infection by looking at me and yet hadn't even looked at my nose, throat or ears and gave me prednisone for the swelling in my lymph nodes. I then asked her how she knew it was a sinus infection and she told me because my nose… and throat was red and swollen and I said "You never looked at them"....She acted shocked and said "oh, I didn't?" and then proceeded to look at me.... It didn't make me very happy... Then when I asked her why I wasn't getting an antibiotic if it was a sinus infection she said the steroids would just take care of it. So I had to go home and find some old antibiotics in my cabinet and take them, which in turn still did not fix the swelling in my lymph nodes. I told her I had lost hope in dr's.... So, when I left she acted as everything was fine, I didn't make another return apt because she only took 5-10 mins and diagnosed me without even looking at me. I was planning on seeing another dr but hadn't gotten around to getting my records yet when she sent me a letter in the mail that stated she was dropping me as a patient....I laughed and said, wow...I guess she didn't like me calling her out on not doing her job.... Unbelievable.... She obviously has a big ego!!!

Ive been there recently i really love her shes awesome i feel like she understands and is a normal person her nurse and staff workers have always been very nice and pleasant im satisfied

Love how she actually read my paperwork and explained everything to me.

I have found my doctor ! She is awesome.

Dr Oberste is an okay dr for maybe the flu or cold but needs more experience for anything more. If a doc is going to see patients before taking her boards, we should be offered that info.. I was told after the fact..She comes across as very fake..She takes personal calls during visits & forgets to get back to you. They act like its an inconvenience to return calls. Her nurse is extremely rude & one of the worst Ive ever had. She loves to argue.. Ive never felt so uncomfortable & unwanted at a clinic in my life. Dr Oberste & her nurse have an excuse for everything & each other. Yes, Iam looking for a new doctor..Ive had a few medical issues in my life & have seen many specialists, but this experience is a first for me & I canNOT recommend this doctor or clinic.
