Dr. Sarah Ann Payne

I live in Idaho now, but when I lived in AZ, Dr Payne was both my husband’s and my doctor. She was the friendliest, most helpful doctor we ever had. We never felt that felt that dread of “going to the doctor”, because you always felt like you were going to see a friend. She was timely, prescribed what was needed (and no more), and kept us healthy. And when you are in your 70s, that’s exactly what you need. Loved her. Wonderful warm woman that seems to really care.

Dr Payne is the most caring and compassionate Dr I have ever met.

My mother is in Assisted Living. Dr. Payne is the Dr. that was recommended because she comes into the facility. However she does not keep regular hours and even when she is scheduled to be on site, she often cancels. The one time my mother saw her, she re-prescribed all the same medicines without really checking whether they were needed or not. She then changed the timing of the medications and caused other complications. I'm looking for a new PCP that will put more effort in to the care of my mother

Sweet, caring. Even remembered our cat's name and said she was so sorry when our cat died. Always asks about previous issues or problems. Love her - excellent doctor!
