Dr. Sarah Rutherford

Dr. Rutherford is one of the nicest and most compassionate doctors I have ever met. I just finished my Chemo treatment with her and mid treatment since my 2nd PET scan was completely clear lessoned the remainder of my course of treatment to a less aggressive chemo. She thought outside the box and consulted other doctors for their opinions to make sure they felt she was making the right decision. My final PET scan which I just had at the end of treatment was completely clear. I hope in a few years to say I am cured. I can’t say enough good things about her as a human being and a doctor. At the end of every visit she asked if she could give me a hug and told me how proud she was of me. She made me feel like she understood how difficult going through treatment is. I owe her my life and highly recommend her.

Dr Sarah Rutherford is very professional , understanding and considerate oncologist. She explained very thoroughly with diagram the subject matter. The patient and family members can asked Dr Rutherford anything and she will gladly explained it to them

I have been under Dr. Rutherford’s care for over a year and feel so lucky to have her as my oncologist. She is kind, caring attentive and sees you as a person. More importantly or as importantly she takes the time to explain all options and is well informed on the latest treatment protocols. She is meticulous and careful in her diagnosis- she is always considering my particular illness and how to best treat it. I cannot speak more highly of her as a physician - I am so glad that she is my doctor.

Dr Rutherford and PA LaPinta have been steadfast, caring, knowledgeable responsive and supportive throughout my illness and beyond. The hospital and treatment experience was also generally excellent with only a few glitches here and there. I always feel cared for and listened to since an initial diagnosis in 2019. If you are fortunate to be in their care, you will be well cared for.

How can I briefly describe the outstanding nature of Doctor Rutherford?! She is extremely, knowledgeable, patient, caring, and dedicated. I have been under her care going on 7 years. She listens attentively, but most importantly, she takes action. I wish more doctors were as dedicated to their patients “overall well being”as is Doctor Sarah C. Rutherford.
