Dr. Sarah Beth Scott, MD

She told me to come back in 3 months for a followup, and when I went in for that she had no idea why I was there and told me it was a waste for me to come in, making me feel stupid for being there evendors though she had told me to come in. Also she said that we had discussed things before that we had NOT, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time or money going in! She talked down to me as if I couldn't understand simple things and made me feel like I had wasted her time, even though she had told me to come back in for a followup! I will be finding a new doctor.

She is amazing! She talks to you person to person, not "Doctor to patient." I would recommend her, hands down!

I have no problem with Dr. Scott. I have seen her only for GYN purposes, but she has always been pleasant to me and took care of what I needed. However, the office staff, especially up front are some of the most unfriendly I have come across. I felt like I was bothering them when I have called and in the office. The actually office waiting room is one of the ugliest and depressing waiting rooms I have ever seen. I haven't been there for about 8 months so maybe they have changed staff, but over the past several years, this was the case.

Love Dr. Scott! She is down to earth and so easy to talk to and works with you as her patient to give you the best care and outcome!

Dr Scott is by far the worst doctor I have had. She has a total lack of respect for her patients, their individual questions/concerns/needs, and spends as little time as possible with them after making them wait 20-30 minutes past their appointment time to see her. I came to her because I was released from my infertility doctor after doing a very expensive IVF round only to be treated as though my pregnancy was insignificant. She didn't take the time to listen to my concerns, questions, or look over my previous medical record or lab results before ordering a complete blood panel of labs, many of which were already previously completed by my infertility doctor and now I have a $1,000 bill that could have been avoided if she had taken the time to review my file, or even ask me if certain tests were previously done before ordering them without my knowledge or consent. I only later discovered these expensive tests were done once the bill came in the mail. No one bothered to call me with… lab results, and when I requested a printed document of results I was denied access to them. After being a patient for five years, when the time came for me to really need my OB/GYN doctor she was unavailable for immediate appointments, refused to give updated ultrasounds regardless of my high risk pregnancy, and couldn't take the time to make my appointment meaningful. She answered my questions with vague responses, treated me as though I was a waste of her time, and bullied me into blood work without explaining the tests being performed or why I needed them. All she said was that state regulations mandate that I get a full blood panel done since I was pregnant. Then when I called to schedule an ultrasound I was denied once again and the nurse lied saying that my insurance wouldn't cover it. I asked the nurse if they called my insurance to preapproved an ultrasound and she said "no, they didn't have time for that, but most insurance policies will not cover an ultrasound at twelve weeks". When I called my insurance they said that was not the case and being as though I was high risk (and they had just paid out almost $42,000 for this pregnancy) there was never a question as to why I would need an ultrasound done at twelve weeks and again at 21-23 weeks. This was down right appalling, how can I trust my doctor's office to take care of me and my unborn baby that I just spent thousands of dollars to conceive when they lie right to my face, can't make adequate time to spend with me to answer my questions, and on top of everything else they request unnecessary blood work and labs to be done. I will never go back to this office again, there is no reason to settle with a poor doctor when there are so many amazing doctors available in Rockford.

I have been in to see Dr Scott several times and will never go back. None of the staff, including Dr Scott, seems to listen. Testing was done incorrectly not once but twice, and a full two months after an appointment for a serious health concern there was zero progress in a diagnosis because of this. I will not return to this office and would never recommend them to anyone.
