Sarah Stoops, APRN, CNP, feels working in pediatrics allows her the ability to get to know the families she cares for. Watching children transition through stages is fun and allows her to help with concerns as they arise. Sarah has a strong interest in developmental, behavioral and mental health with a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. With this certification, Sarah has been able to further her education in screening, diagnosing, managing and coordination of care for common conditions, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, developmental delay, and autism, specifically screening and coordination of further testing. She's also a International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) which is a health care professional specializing in the clinical management of breastfeeding and lactation, certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
