Whatever the stage in life or health situation, every patient deserves to have a provider who will meet them where they are, without judgment, and support them through their healthcare decisions. I strive to be that provider. I understand that each person brings with them a unique collection of experiences which shape what is important to them about their care. I work with my patients to understand their needs and wishes, and to offer them evidence-based treatment options that meet their goals and optimize their emotional, mental and physical well-being. I am passionate about preventive medicine, patient education, root-cause analysis and healthcare equality. I look forward to establishing trusting relationships with my patients and empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions. \n Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, cooking and yoga. Growing up near North Carolina's Linville Gorge, I became very fond of hiking and embracing the natural beauty around us. I still get outside …whenever I can, and I especially love getting outdoors with family and friends.
