Dr. Sarah Craig Troxel, MD

Dr. Troxel was excellent. She listened to my concerns, talked about expectations and made me feel at ease during the whole process. She tells it like it is and has a very straight forward approach about everything. She cares about her patients.

I have been to Dr. Sarah Troxel for a number of surgeries. I was first referred to her to remove a mass on my back. Surgery went good, scar is very small considering the mass removed. I then had some other surgeries with her. I have been more then impressed with her caring about her patients, both before and after surgery. To this day, she is the only Dr. I feel I can completely trust. I have referred her to not only friends, but family as well. I would recommend to sit down and talk to Dr. Sarah with anything you are thinking about doing, she will be honest with you, if it is a good or bad idea.

I cannot express enough positive words regarding Dr. Sarah Troxel and her team; she is an exceptional doctor and surgeon, and a true asset to the community. Due to a medical condition I was diagnosed with quite some time ago (which requires frequent treatments), I was referred to Dr. Troxel and she has been an important part of my family's life since then. She is kind, supportive, thorough, detailed, knowledgeable, and cares about her patient's wellbeing. She has gone above and beyond to help myself and others, and she genuinely listens to her patients. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was there with myself and my family every step of the way. She ensured that I had all of the resources available that I needed, helped connect me to resources in the medical community, and gave us such positive support and understanding during a very difficult time. Her kindness and expertise made facing such a challenge easier for me and she helped provide a vast amount of information… and options that allowed me determine what path I wished to take for my reconstruction. Dr. Troxel has been of amazing support to myself and my spouse, and we are grateful for her talent and her understanding. She has a lovely sense of humor and does outstanding work (I have been immensely impressed with her skills for every procedure I have had with her) and her positive work ethic and office environment has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed; as if I was part of the family. We have many wonderful doctors in Alaska; she is by far one of my absolute favorites to work with.

Dr. Troxel is more than just an ordinary surgeon. She cares and will go above and beyond to meet your needs. She did a revision after two botched surgeries I had prior to her, which many surgeons would not consider to even take. She did an amazing job and even found another issue while I had undergone surgery in her care, which I am really grateful for. She truly has changed my life. Her expertise and experience makes her one-of-a-kind. I have been to offices that don't really care, don't even remember their patients, and just want to make some money or even talk you into things you don't need. This is not the case with Dr. Troxel. While she is very honest (in a kind way) she truly cares about the outcome of the procedure and about the patient. I would highly recommend her and she will be the only person I will go to in the Valley/Matsu region. She is the best! Oh, and rhe office staff is amazing and makes you also feel at home and welcomed.

I had a breast Augmentation in the spring of 2013. I was a small A cup and decided to have 450 silicone implants. After surgery I was disappointed I felt like they were much smaller than expected. After calling the office they said to come in, Dr Troxel had a totally different bed side manner telling me I got the size I wanted. Well apparently after reviewing my chart she had a different tone telling me the 450s wouldn't fit and she made a judgement call during surgery and gave me 350s. Which is understandable BUT that possibility is something a person would like to consider PRIOR to surgery and at the least should be informed of after!!! She wasn't even going to tell me! Not to mention a year and a half later I can not feel my boobs! Not just my nipples my whole breast are NUMB! And the scars are horrible! For a plastic surgeon you'd expect much more! At no point were these possibilities or concerns mentioned prior to surgery and post op Dr Troxel was so rude she had me in tears! I… highly recommend finding another doctor! Especially when you think you are paying nearly 8000 for good quality, I assure you thats not what I found

I would highly recommend not going to this plastic surgeon. I had a tummy tuck. During the consultation she drew lines across my pelvic bone. After surgery I was horrified to find out she left the scar across my stomach rather than pulling the skin down it appears she pulled the skin up. She's a butcher.

I had my first breast argumentation by this doctor ten some years ago , she cut some of the muscle that covers upper part of my left breast. And left with a visible indentation. She mess up my left side so bad I have been trying to fix it ever since. I've been to a couple of different doctor and spend thousand dollars to fix her mistake. Unfortunately it's not fixable and I have to live with it and everytime I look at it I hate my stupid mistake that I've ever gone to her . She is most Inconsiderate person. I honestly don't understand how people like her can sleep at night And still continue on with her practice. I Don't recommend her to anyone because I don't wish anyone who has to go through what I have to go to through 10 some years and still continues on.

Beware! Beware! Don't do this. Wrong diagnosis, inflexible and rigid treatment..... following wrong diagnosis.

I am excited about the stitching that went on. Amazing work. I honestly believe that was the reason it eased the pain.! Along with a great, sincer, bond, easly made to be free to feel comfortable. I appreciate your presence in ableing me to be more free,! Thankyou. Dr. Troxel, see you soon.!

Dr. Troxel is AMAZING. She is the epitome of a true professional and amazing plastic surgeon. Her staff is warm, welcoming, and hilarious. They were just as excited for my surgery as I was! I have a few more reconstructive surgeries to take care of, and she's the only surgeon I'd even consider. Her credentials speak for themselves, but her work speaks volumes on its own. LOVE her, TRUST her, and completely recommend her! Also, i check in to my appts. 10 min early, and literally never have to wait more than 3 minutes to get back to a room and be seen.
