I enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and their families, seeking to understand their needs beyond medication or medical interventions.Kidney disease can be a complex subject, and it's rewarding to work with families to help them navigate and better understand it. I have always had a passion for pediatrics and appreciate witnessing the amazing growth of both patients and families over time.I treat patients with kidney conditions such as hypertension, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis (inflammation of the kidney) and nephrotic syndrome, which is a disease that involves protein in the urine and swelling or edema.My research interests include improving the recognition of high blood pressure in children and detecting early life risk factors for developing hypertension or high blood pressure.
