Dr. VanGaasbeek is the kind of doctor all others should strive to be! She is an intentional listener and makes you feel heard. She is very detailed in her explanations and strives to make sure you understand the science and research behind the issue. I am thankful for her care.

Excellent caring physician who listens and responds appropriately.

Careless and harmful Careless with dangerous drugs and uncaring overall. I also felt judged by her. She's supposed to be an obesity expert but just offered me compounded drug from someone she knows. I said I couldn't afford it. I tried to get it later from reputable weight loss centers and after a thorough examination they said iit would be dangerous to take it because of my past history. She also casually gave me muscle relaxers which caused severe intoxication when used along with my regular drugs. She also said she would arrange a home health aide for after my surgery. A home health aide never came and I had to do dangerous things on my own, like giving myself a shower. Absolutely would not recommend.
