Sarah Waarvik

Sarah Waarvik is a speech-language pathologist with more than ten years of experience serving children and families across school and healthcare settings. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Montana in 2012 and completed her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Northern Colorado in 2014.

As a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Group on School-Based Issues, Sarah provides speech-language therapy services to students in rural schools throughout the region. While much of her work is school-based, she also serves patients in both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings.

Sarah’s areas of expertise include speech sound disorders, apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, receptive and expressive language delays, school-age language disorders, cognitive and executive functioning skills, and fluency disorders.

Outside of her professional work, Sarah and her spouse have twin boys, who have quickly become the center of family …life. When time allows, she enjoys reading, gardening, baking, and playing fetch with the family dog.
