Dr. Sarah Worthy

Sarah Worthy is a Supervisee in Social Work who has experience providing therapeutic care in theindividual and group setting for adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of issuesincluding depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and loss, anger management, trauma,relational problems, and life transitions. Sarah completed her Bachelor of Arts in Conflict Analysisand Resolution at George Mason University and received her Master’s degree in Social Work and Certificate in Gender Violence Intervention from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sheapplies a person-centered and strengths-based approach with her clients. She utilizesmodels such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solutions-based therapy, and psychodynamictherapy. Sarah understands that each client has their own unique set of needs and tailors hertherapeutic interventions accordingly.
