Saranne Lentz-Barker, Au. D. Doctor of Audiology Dr. Saranne Lentz-Barker started her career in a medical setting where she could work with hearing aids, cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids, and assisted with intraoperative monitoring; however, she did not feel she was able to give her hearing aid patients the time and attention they deserved. That led her to pursue a private practice that would allow her to focus on the patient’s needs and provide patient-centered care. Dr. Barker believes every patient’s needs are unique and needs a treatment plan that is individualized for them. She works with the patient to develop the plan while incorporating evidence-based best practices, like real ear measurements and treatment validation measures, to guide patients to hear their best. Dr. Barker enjoys working with patients with hearing loss and tinnitus. She has also taken courses in cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and Tinnitus Retraining Therapy.
