FHP - Sugar Mill Pond is my go-to place for minor medical issues. BUT you have to be careful which doctor you get. Call ahead. If it is Dr. Gunda, stay away. Yesterday she diagnosed (quite confidently) that my husband's trauma-induced and infected bursitis of his elbow was tennis elbow. What?! Her diagnosis was careless and ignorant. Tennis elbow is a repetitive-use syndrome of the ulnar nerve. Had she even looked at the elbow, she would have seen it to be red, extremely, warm to the touch. Had she read (Or listened) to his history, she would have heard that the incident was trauma-induced by falling off of a ladder. A sixth grader could have known the difference.
