Dr. Sarosh Saleemi, MD

Dr Saleemi was a relieving experience. She spent over an hour with me looking over medical records and simply listening to MY history. She actually examined my areas of complaint. She was very helpful in trying to figure out a plan of action, as well as why I am in this condition to begin with! I highly recommend her and her staff.

Although Dr Saleemi does meet with her patients, she Doesn't believe in Fibromyalgia at all. I've been on & off with her for over 3 years. She will not fill a prescription for anything unless you have an office visit (when can I bill your insurance again?) I had an epidural in my neck & she told me I have too much anxiety & she wouldn't do the other side. She never called to check in on me on any procedures. Her office staff is constantly changing & the procedure room is not clean.

If you like going to a doctor, while in extreme pain, and hear "I see" the entire visit.....then go for it...i waited over 2 hours and that's all I heard the entire 19 minutes I was seen..."I see"...LMAO it's been a week and I'm still flabbergasted over the entire experience there. Oh another thing...she will come right out and make you feel like a drug addict or something because you're in pain...i am so grateful I am not dependant on pain medications to the point of begging because she has that type of demeanor about her like " haha I'm in control and I say no"..i hate doctors like her.....i say God help people like her when there time comes and they seek compassion for their pain....KARMA

Before making the appointment they assured me that they took my insurance. I received bill for $290 as insurance company denied payment. You cannot get hold of anyone at the office by phone. Guess I will have to go by there to get resolved.

Dr. Saleemu is very rude as seen with her inability to keep staff more than a month. She spends very little time with patients.

This woman was very rude and even questioned my pain level, despite MRI results. She asked what are you here for?! Three herniated discs for starters but what kind of question was that? I sat through a few more of her interrogative questions before finally ending the appointment. I walked out of the room and she followed me to the reception desk where I demanded a refund. She continued her stare down and told me to leave. They denied the refund so I ended up canceling the charge on my credit card. This was by far the most bizarre experience I've ever had with anyone, let alone a supposed MD. Absolutely the worst in every facet of humanity.

She sees every patient, unlike other doctors. She always listens and talks through the options, I have turned down treatments or asked for alternatives and she never threatened me with taking away medications so I don't understand the issue another reviewer had. She is the only one I have seen results from and she explains everything. I am amazed at how much she knows. She is a good doctor. The waiting time is gone now too. I never have a long wait anymore.

I have had fibromyalgia for 10 years, and have constantly on numerous antidepressants, anti-anxiety, and pain medication ( Darvocet up until @ 2 years ago. I have gone to numerous doctors to try to find any sort of relief, by any other means aside from pumping meds. Then I was reccommended to Dr. Saleemi by a woman that I deeply respect. I've gone in for multiple injections ( which gave instant relief!) then a few minor procedures. Since my last procedure on May 30th which was for my lower back, I have not had any pain! NO MIGRAINES! NO HEAD, NECK, SHOULDER, ARM OR LOWER BACK PAIN! I'm not on any of the meds mentioned below. She has never been late for surgery, and she always stops by to say hi before I am taken back to the procedure room. Ana, the office manager, is truly a gem, and is always professional as well as personal. My quality of life has improved drastically and I just wish I would have found her sooner.

Long wait times, she doesn't care if injections work, if you don't do them you can not be seen. Insurance billing is always messed up. Can't keep staff.

I saw Dr. Saleemi for the third time today. I was initially impressed by the amount of time she devotes to getting to know the patient, and becoming familiar with their individual situation and needs. I was further impressed by her continuation of that devotion by her seeing her patients personally, and not passing them off to a PA after the first visit. I'm very firm in my belief that when going to see a Dr I should see the Dr and not a PA., especially in a specialized practice. This is an issue that has caused conflict between other Dr's and I. I discussed my whole history with her as well as other dr's opinions on my medical issues. She gave me her take on the situation and discussed the pros and cons of various options. She definitely is firm in her belief of how to handle things, and she backs it up with explaining why she believes what she does. it doesn't make her right or wrong, rather it shows that in her experience the treatment she prefers is the better option. Everyone is… different though, so your mileage may vary. To some degree I have to agree with the criticism regarding how the injections are performed because I was surprised by the fact that my injection was given without the aid of a fluoroscope. I've had +/- 100 injections over the last 11 years, and was concerned when I had my first one with her without the fluoroscope. I also had the problem of her not being able to get the needle in smoothly on the first try, and experienced some soreness from the needle hitting the bone. That was a short term problem though. After a day the soreness was gone and the injection provided relief that I'd been seeking for a couple years. I'm now a month out from my first injection with Dr Saleemi, and the results speak for themselves. I'm very pleased by the relief I got from the treatment. The two ther Dr's that I saw in the last two years didn't do anything to relive the pain. One put me into PT, which aggravated my condition. The other Dr ordered a cornucopia of imaging, and then refused to discuss the results with me. He only saw his patients on the first visit, and then subsequent visits were with his PA. Overall, I would give Dr. Saleemi a 4.5 out of 5. The deduction is for the lack of a flouroscope in the office. I do see the benefits of doing the injections without the scope; mainly the reduced cost to her which is passed down to the patient. If you really want the procedure done with a live image then talk to her about it. When i raised the issue she did tell me that the procedure could be done in the OR where the scope is available if the patient wants it done that way. Again, everyone's needs are different. I prefer Dr. Saleemi because she doesn't pass you off to a PA, and she takes the time to deal with each patient thoroughly. I don't like paying for Dr's that can't spend more than 5 mins with me. How could they possibly know how to treat my problems if they don't take the time to thoroughly investigate the problem?
