Dr Subbiah was excellent spent a lot time with me as this was my first appointment with a new physician that wasn't a part of my cancer diagnosis and treatment. I was able to pull up my medical records through my previous provider's EMR and she navigated through it and she was able to get most of my information. There was some information she wasn't able to find and her office has been working very hard to get that data and have been religious in their follow up. Sure puts a patient at ease knowing that the physician is going to that length to get what she needs to provide me with the best possible care. She is definitely a keeper!!!

Had been told for three year my goiter had not increased in size after viewing my sonograms. Found that it had been growing via ct scan for something unrelated. When I returned for my annual visit a month later she did not order ct scan to see how much it was growing, she just ordered my routine sonogram. Had to request a ct. Goiter was huge and needed removed by a skilled surgeon in Chicago. If I had known all along it was growing that much I would have had it out longer ago.

Seriously, PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I would not at all be surprised if Dr. Subbiah accidentally or negligently maimed or injured someone one day. Sadly, she is the only Tier 1 endocrinologist in the network within an hour drive one-way. I have always thought endocrinology is complex & difficult, but this doctor makes no sense whatsoever even by her own standards & definitions. She ignores valuable medical history & is wholly unable / maybe unwilling to construct a differential diagnosis. In addition, she does completely illogical things (not adhering to valuable medical standards & guidelines) that waste your & your insurance company's money -- for example, ordering a specific blood test to be drawn first thing in the morning that even the lab tech and general medical opinion agree should only be performed later in the day. Honestly, I have respect for anyone who can endure Med School, but this is clearly a sadly mistaken career path.
