I really want to thank Anish for helping me!

My wife has seen Dr Purewal for about a year now and is happy with him but....... the last two visits she has had including today he has mixed her prescriptions up or forgot to send it in period. When my wife called to explain the situation both times and both times the staff has been very rude and told her he does not fill prescriptions on weekends! Sorry but today is Friday Not the weekend. She called back again to explain the situation and that she needed her medication and their answer was if you need your medication that bad go to the emergency room! REALLY we just paid a copay for the Dr visit now you want us to pay to go to the emergency room to get the medicine he forgot to call in the firstborn place!,,,, Like I said very rude and uncaring staff to say the least!

I dont feel he takes time with patients. I wait for about an hour after my scheduled appointment and when he calls me in to his office, im there about 10 minutes. He doesnt talk much, feels like he just wants to give me medication and till next month!

I have been seeing Dr. Purewal for my alcoholism, addition, depression and anxiety disorders for over2.5 years. He is wonderful. He truly cares about me. He doesn't just pull out the Rx pad when I discuss new, varying or declining states of mind. He listens and moves cautiously through medication increases or changes.

I can't believe how much this Dr doesn't care and how obvious he makes it. He doesn't know what medicine I take even though he prescribed it. He looks at his computer the entire time I'm there while I tell him what medicine he prescribed me because he doesn't remember. Doesn't look me in the eye. Doesn't ask if I'm suicidal. he doesn't comment when I tell him I'm struggling. I've never met a worse psychiatrist in my life. Avoid this guy.

Satinder Purewal misdiagnosed my mother with a mental illness, institutionalized her, medicated her. She died a year later from the REAL illness: cardiovascular disease. I would avoid this "physician" at all costs.

Thi Doctor and his staff were inappropriate, in giving me medications that were not supposed to be mixed or given to a patient with my medical condition as they could and did cause the illness to be magnified.

Thw office staff is likw a revolvinf door. They are always Changing, discourteous, unprofessional, and unfriendly. Dr Purewal on the otherhand is amazing & wonderful.
