Dr. Satinderpal Singh Sondhi, MD

Dr Sondi did two procedures on me today and it wasn’t until the procedure room that it was clear he didn’t know anything about me- not my history, diagnosis, disability, why I had a port, not even why I was in there getting these procedures done. What kind of medicine is that? I have a systemic, chronic autoimmune condition which is why I was there and he had ZERO knowledge of this. Terrible medicine.

Worst doctor, worst staff, worst office. My mother was referred to Dr. Sondhi for screening colonoscopy by primary care physician. She was past due for screening colonoscopy more that 10 years. Dr. Sondhi entered incorrect diagnosis during the office visit and billed insurance as diagnostic colonoscopy, so my mother unknowingly received surprise bill of approx $3000. We called the office all week requesting to speak to the doctor but the doctor never called back and neglected patient and patient's family. I am still waiting to hear back from the doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Sondhi's for 15 years and he will forever be my Gastroenterologist because he is the best!!! He is amazing and is so informative, he has always solved my medical problem. He spends time with his patients and always has a smile and is postitive in reporting back to his patients. I have recently introduced my husband to him and he loves him too! His staff is amazing too and are always helpful and emphatic to my problem. Thanks to the best team around this area!!!! Thanks to the Best in Tampa Bay!!!

I have been in several times trying to see Dr. Sondhi. Each time I saw his PA . Trying to get a grip on what's going on with me. It was trying to pull information from the PA to get test results and how to cope with this. The answers from the PA were very short and not answering my questions. PA was no help at all. I missed so much work trying to figure this out my self. Good luck !!!!

I was at the office for an hour and a half, I saw the work staff. The Doctor came in for maybe three minutes, just enough time to ask him one question.

Dr. Sondhi was called in to do an endoscopy before my husbands aorta valve replacement. He found a artery coming through the stomach wall and fixed it . If this had not been done when the new valve had been put in he would hsve bleed out. Dr. Sondhi is my hero!

Dr Sondhi is a great doctor. He spent time talking to me so that I felt more comfortable going into my procedure. I told him that I had a list of questions that I had found out through research I did. He said he didn't mind addresses all of those questions. He was extremely busy that day, but he made me feel that he would take whatever time I needed to talk to him. Every nurse that I spoke to at the hospital said that they all love him as well. I would highly recommend him.

I was in the hospital with internal bleeding, hospital doctors couldn't find where it was coming from! They called Sondhi for an answer, He said he wasn't going to do any testing because he had gone down my throat and stomach a year ago! He sent one of his girls over to see me and she gave me a lecture on blood thinners. Don't Bother with this Doctor!

Dr. Sondhi is kind and gentle and a very caring person.

I recommend this excellent Doctor to anyone.
