Dr. Satish Kumar Choudhary, MD

I was assigned Dr. Choudhary when I was admitted to the hospital with AFib. He was very condescending. I am a couple months postpartum and he was trying to treat my case as if I was it was a straight-forward AFib case for someone 70+ years old. He was going to send me home with an uncontrolled heart rate on meds he said I could just self-regulate. When I told him I was uncomfortable with that, he treated me as if I was incompetent. I had asked for another doctor and when he found out I had requested someone else he came bursting into my hospital room, waking me up from a dead sleep, to challenge me on wanting a new doctor. All this time I kept asking him if I needed to be worried about a blood clot and he continued to dismiss my concern. I finally got a new doctor who treated my case with much more care. The new doctor actually did find a blood clot in my heart through a CT scan and put me on a specific medication plan before scheduling a cardio version. I truly believe that if I had… stayed with Dr. Choudhary I would have had a stroke as a 38 year old with 3 small children.

Dr Choudhary by far is the best within his field. He is extremely serious and may be mistaken as too serious but when you have a heart problem what would you rather have a serious doctor thinking of how to solve your problem or another Pharma Doctor who is quick to prescribe medication to you and get you out of his office. I am 68 and Doctor Choudhary is probably the reason I am still living today. If you have a heart problem this doctor is the best.
