Dr. Rao first tended to my husband while he hospitalized for some severe issues that nobody could diagnose. Of all the visiting specialists he was the most engaged and thorough, and the only one who would look at the big integrated picture rather than addressing things by only a specialist's lens (cardio, hormonal, respiratory, neuro, etc.) We followed up with him and found him to again be attentive, concerned and knowledgeable beyond his own specialties.

Dr Rao has been my neurologist for almost a year. He is very patient and thoughtful. He takes a very deliberate, scientific approach to diagnoses. He actively listens and will encourage you to share anything you might think might be important. I also rank him high in empathy and curiosity. He seems genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of your symptoms and ensuring your mental health is also helped along the way. Great office staff - which seems rare these days.

Starting a series of tests to assist in determining a new approach to treatment, gave me hope of feeling better that I haven't had for a VERY long time. New treatment. Wow. Finding the source of the issue. Wow. Not just another pill.Feel the possibility of being/feeling normal again.Office staff was very polite and friendly.Overall experience was fantastic. Successful treatment may be in the near future. Yay!
