Dr. Satpal Singh Rathour, MD

I love Dr. Rathour! He pretty much got my medication correct right away and it has definitely helped me in my overall day to day life. He is brilliant and does not sugar coat anything, which I feel is very beneficial in therapy. I definitely recommend him!

I must admit, first visit It was not great. He was stern, questioning me about my meds, moved from Fl to NY. All you have to do is be honest with him. He figured out exactly the meds I needed. I fought him on it because I don’t want to be on medication, but certainly need it. We are still working through it because I said NO to what he subscribed. Dr.fatuous is my favorite doctor by far. I have anxiety and depressive n. Yes he of scribes meds but tells it lik e it is now to cope with your issues. He is firm but helpful

Dr. Rathour listens to me, but perhaps he could be a little more compassionate when giving advice. He can be kind of cold so if you are looking for a therapist, Dr. Rathour is not for you. He prescribed me thorazine for *anxiety*, and every time one of my other doctors see it on my meds list, they question it. He is difficult to get an appointment with at first, but once you see him regularly and need an emergency appointment, he can usually squeeze you in that week.

This Md. Is terrible. The man is cold as a stons! He is quick to diagnose patients as bipolar or "manic" especially in my case because I cried while pouring my heart out about my very significant problems at that time. He prescribed heavy meds. I saw another psychiatrist whom throughly asssed my issues st hand and was told i am not bipolar nor manic. I've heard he is quick to diagnose his patients with this .

Good psychiatrist but very hard to get an appointment with him. Pleasant and positive attitude.
