Dr. Satyajit Daniel, MD

I have been going to Dr Daniel for about 15 years. He is friendly, a good listener, and he and his staff are professional.

Amazing doctor and incredible human being. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

Overall I think Dr. Daniel is a good doctor. Problem is, if you have a chronic problem it can take weeks, sometimes maybe a couple months, to get in to see him. Between him doing procedures and hospital rounds he has a very small window for office visits. And he has been rushed when you do see him. I like him as a doctor. Maybe all GI doctors are like this. I don't know.

It took me 2 months to get the results from a procedure, and didn't get an answer for the procedure his response was I'm not sure. I felt the doctor was very rushed and he only wanted to do more tests for an unrelated issue. During the consultation for the procedure he was very rough when he examined me. I don't think I will be returning.

Dr. Daniel's is one of the most intelligent doctors I have ever encountered. He has treated my Crohn's disease for nearly 15 years now; since, I was 12. He is very caring, knowledgable, and trustworthy, and he always takes the time to answer my questions and ease my anxieties. Since I have moved outside of the area, he has also made the time in his schedule to fit me in when his schedule has no openings.

Not only is Doctor S. Daniels a careful and highly skilled physician, he also has much knowledge. He helped so much even after the main doctor at UofM had given up, literally saving a life. He is one of those rare doctors with a heart of gold, very compassionate and kind. Highly recommended for many, many reasons. The best.
