Dr. Satyen P Madkaiker, MD

My experience with Dr. Satyen Madkaiker has been very disappointing. He is consistently late to both virtual and in-person appointments and provides little to no guidance beyond prescribing medication. Messages and voicemails are never returned—the only response I ever got was to “schedule another appointment.” The staff is also unprofessional; one even had part of a personal conversation recorded on my voicemail by accident. I’ve reported my experience to network management and encourage others with similar concerns to do the same.

I also would have given a zero to this office staff! I needed a refill on a medication and called multiple times for it and they called in the wrong medication. I was then ACCUSED by the office staff that I had requested the wrong medication. I'm ended up going through horrific withdrawals which they didn’t care. I called several times asking to speak to Dr. Madkaiker to let him know what I experienced. I never got a call back from him!!! The office manager called and apologized but I wanted to talk to the doctor. Never happened! Never ever will I return to this practice again and be treated the way I was. Do yourself a favor. Research another practice!

They claim to not accept my insurance even though my insurance provider says otherwise, and they didn't even bother to ask me my name or date of birth yet. Extremely unhelpful staff.

Dr.Madkaiker is an outstanding psychiatrist.He attended the University of Pennsylvania and his knowledge shows.He listens, asks questions and we discuss my treatment plan. He is thoughtful, kind, and tailors the treatment plan to effectively improve my well being. I highly recommend Dr Madkaiker and his office to anyone needing his professional psychiatric careHe is excellent!

His intake Coordinator is very easy to talk to and attentive, which leads to very thorough and invested appointments with dr madkaiker from day 1. You may have to wait up to an hour before you see the doctor, but once you do, he really dedicates his time and attention to you and only you. He explains meds and options with ease and openness.

Dr. Satyen Madkaiker is a professional with all of the positive attributes of old time doctors. Excellent ideals that the patient is first, he listens and offers ideas, well read on current and new technology and applies caution in his decision making. Best choice for patients with special needs.

He cares about his patients. He will make suggestions and give support when appropriate. Very knowledgeable about medications and there inter actions. If you need him he will see you as soon as possible. He is a little quite sometime - he lets you tell your story. Nice thing when going to a doctor.
