Dr. Sauhang Baldev Patel, MD

Patel was on call during my labor. I understand he had been extremely busy that night and morning but nurses were amazing. I saw him about 3 times during my labor and every time I was left with little to no questions because of his thoroughness and great detail. When it came to deliver my baby how coaching skills were perfect. I understood everything he was explaining from what to do, what to expect, and what I will feel. If I was losing focus he would help me regroup. My actual delivery was very quick and easy ( it was my first baby) and I give him a lot more credit due to the fact that he was very busy delivering probably 3 or 4 babies right before us. I did not use him as my OBGYN BUT I would have and will in future.

I was previously a Dr Gui patient and i switched to Dr Patel and cannot be more happier with him. He is so detailed and goes over with you options before considering surgery. He is very well Bedside manner and also detailed orientated. I recommend him very much.

I was transferred from a planned home birth to hospital and Dr. Patel was extremely judgmental right from the start. His unwillingness to speak with my midwife played a major roll in the treatment I feel was inadequate. After 7 hours in the hospital I ended up with a c section and Dr. Patel brushed off all my questions going into surgery. He did not let me know what was happening or even let me know when my daughter was born. To top it all off he insinuated that I was in the position I was in because I attempted a home birth.

Dr. Patel is very sweet and made me feel extremely comfortable.

Very condescending, not clear in his explanations... I will not recommend him ...
