Dr. Saundra S Buys, MD

Dr. Buys is the best. She is really concerned about me and my situation. She always comes in and gives me a hug and she truly cares about my welfare. She also called me at 8:30 on a Friday night to talk to me about test results and to make sure I understood them. I was totally shocked that she was still working that late. She has called me several times to talk to me instead of having the nurses do it. I think that is great. I am so grateful she is my oncologist. I absolutely love her!

Dr. Buys is awesome. She takes the time to review my chart before seeing me. She remembers my name and pertinent trivia about me. She spends alot of time discussing lab results, treatment options, and prognosis. She doesn't get put out when I ask the same question again and again, hoping each time to get a different answer! Dr. Buys is brilliant, caring, and professional. She called me at 9:30 pm on Friday night to tell me she was calling in a prescription and to tell me about its side effects, to make sure I was okay with them before proceeding. She rocks!
