Dr. Saurabh Kumar, MD

Dr. Kumar diagnosed me with HELLP syndrome and saved me and my baby’s lives. He explained in simple terms what was happening and how the procedures were going to look and what to expect. I am truly grateful for his help!

My Daughter was at Desert Regional about a month ago. Dr Kumar was assigned to her case. She has a Cyst. He ordered Blood work to check to see if it's Cancerous or not. This blood work was done on 8/19/24 and it is now 9/12/24 with the results sent to him and no one has called. My daughter called the number on the order of the blood work and this man no longer works there. She then calls the hospital, Desert Regional and he has no office there. Where is this man's office and how does one get a hold of him. Your putting my daughters life on the line with this kind of practice. She had to make an appointment with another OB/GYN near us and start all over again. Do not make an appointment with this Doctor.

He was rude and did not respect my choices. I was seeking sterilization at 24 and he told me “you gotta have babies” and that id have to build a “relationship” with him in 5+ visits before he’d even consider it. When I told him that was ridiculous he told me “I could say the same about what you want but I won’t because that’s not professional.” As if that is? He does not respect a woman’s right to decide to herself if she wants kids and clearly believes all women must have them. Do not see if him if you believe women should get to decide for themselves if they want children or not.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr.Kumar. He took over as my OB doctor in the middle of my pregnancy. He paid close attention to my labs, and ensured I got IV transfusions of iron prior to childbirth. He made it known I’d need a transfusion if I did not get treatments. My previous doctor had not even noticed I was anemic. An ultrasound was read incorrectly, and showed low amniotic fluid and Dr.Kumar personally called me and told me to go to the OB right away. There were a few rough patches with birthing my son, and Dr.Kumar joked in the delivery room with me and kept me calm. He never made it seem scary for me. He was in complete control. He always listens to my concerns, and is incredibly intelligent. This man has studies and facts to back up what he is telling you... not to mention, if he sees you out, he will give a friendly hello. I couldn’t recommend him more.

HIS BED SIDE MANNER WAS VERY GOOD AND HE SPEND S TIME WITH ME AND HE A GOOD DOCTOR HAPPY TO HAVE HIM AS MY DOCTOR HE A VERY GREAT PERSON AND A GOOD FRIEND

I love the Dr's personality along with his skills. Yes a great Dr with a great, compassionate bed side manner. Would recommend him highly!!
