Dr. Balaraman is a highly respected and deeply knowledgeable, very capable oncologist. She is a considerate, empathetic, compassionate, and realistic physician. She is also very patient, and gives her patients all the time they need to ask any questions they may have… she provides realistic and exceptionally well informed answers. She is simply an amazing oncologist with extensive connections to the major cancer research hospitals. She is at the very forefront of emerging cancer treatments and there is not a patient condition detail that gets past her precise analysis and diagnosis, resulting in the best treatment plan for the best possible outcome for each patient. She also takes a personal interest in her patients and their families with an ever optimistic and encouraging attitude. Sometimes the long wait in the waiting room is quite trying, but if the patient keeps in mind that Dr. Balaraman is giving each patient the full amount of time they need, when you do finally reach the… exam room, you will also get all of her time that you need! I believe Dr. B does not short change any single one of her patients! I am grateful beyond words for the blessing of Dr. Balaraman and her capabilities!

Dr Balaraman is the best. Very caring, knowledgeable, and always available. She cured my mom of breast cancer… twice! 18 years apart. I would never go to anyone but her for cancer treatment. Shes amazing.

After working for 25 yrs managing a busy breast care center I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Dr. Balarama was so kind and caring while offering me hope. Unfortunately I had complications from my first chemotherapy treatment. A month long hospital stay and 3 weeks in a rehab center during Covid was difficult. I couldn’t walk or tend to myself. Fast forward to today. I’m on a new chemotherapy regiment, Enhertu. The results have been amazing. Now in remission. The staff are extremely kind and caring. The infusion room supports an atmosphere of healing. I would recommend Dr Balarama to anyone experiencing the life changing cancer experience.

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2020 and was terribly nervous and scared, to say the least. The word oncologist is scary enough but after meeting Dr. Balaraman, I actually was given hope accompanied with a very detailed plan of care. If anything arose out of the ordinary during my treatment she was steadfast in finding solutions. She is very meticulous and her demeanor is well thought out. Her reputation of caring for her patients exceeds her and I am a witness to that! I am 2 treatments away from completing my immunotherapy treatments, however, if my Cancer returns (God forbid) I would not hesitate in requesting Dr. Balaraman again! She is a Godsend!

Dr. B is always willing to take her time with me and explain my results until I truly understand what they mean. She is honest and so thorough - contacting other doctors to make sure I am receiving the best type of care for my cancer. Since she is so giving of her time to her patients, it can sometimes be hard to get ahold of her, but once she is speaking with you, she is worth the wait!

Dr Balararman is an excellent oncologist. I have been going to her for 7 years now for bone cancer and now liver and now all my scans are looking good. My chemo treatments are also looking good.
