I'm actually really surprised to read the negative comments here! I've been to Dr. Susarla twice and will be staying with her. Although she is efficient and "to the point", I was not annoyed by this and didn't find this cold, dismissive or negative like some of the other people here. She was still friendly and helpful to me personally. I am dealing with some rather nontraditional medical issues (including a very severe gluten sensitivity and allergies to various chemicals), and I have a hard time finding a doctor who doesn't downplay those. I think some of the negative comments here might be from people who are more interested in taking a pill rather than supplementing those types of treatments with holistic approaches like diet, exercise, getting enough sleep, etc. I for one am very open to using a combination of those things (both prescriptions AND other things that I can control) to improve my health. I would highly recommend her for someone who wants a doctor who is well-versed in… BOTH traditional medicine and holistic medicine. I also had zero problems with the staff, so the people mentioned in other reviews must no longer be there. Everyone was kind and caring.

Our family left this doctor. We did not have any problems with Dr. Susarla. We actually liked her. It was her awful staff that drove us away. Specifically, Sue and Shannon. Sue kept asking me very personal questions about my wife about her breasts. She kept pestering my wife. I called 3 times to make an appointment, and Shannon was rude, belligerent and hostile. When I mentioned that I was planing on reporting her behavior to the doctor, she hung up the telephone on me. I agree with all the other reviews that this office staff does not respect the Patient's Bill of Rights. I know that this doctor would be far more successful without Sue and Shannon.

very arrogant Dr. On the first visit she will spend alot of time with you and be open to many types of holistic treatment, tell you what you wish to hear. Upon the second visit, it all changes when you are informed of your diagnosis, the choices of medications out there. Doesn't keep informed of new medical literature and then will refer you to a specialist to treat you.

I am current patients of savitha Susarla, however I feel like she does not care for what I have to say. Every single time I have gone in her office for appointment I have been treated as if I did not matter (walks in, walks out touches my shoulder or leg leaves) . I have serious suicidal thoughts often and every time I leave her office I feel like, if my own doctor does not seem to care why would anyone else. She is the expert that is why I reached out for help. I tried committing suited 4 times. Now I'm really upset at Savitha Susarla I called her after hours because of family emergency once again she seem not to care. A family member passed away. My family was a mess, we needed her to be supportive I didn't even get a sorry for your loss. From the reviews I have read on here looks like she chooses her patients instead of doing her job which is help people that reach out to her but then again she probably just became a doctor because of her dad. I'm just truly upset because… for one quick second I thought she actually cared about my health and family. I don't know what to do. I am still her patients but every time I'm concerned with my health I think twice before calling to make an appointment. I'm not saying medically she does not know what she is doing. It is her attitude towards my concerns that make her not a well rounded doctor.

Dr. Susarla is a very good doctor, if she can't find the answer she will not hesitate in refffering you to another doctor. She always keeps in touch with the doctors she has reffered you to. She returns all the calls and follows up with you. I staff has been really good with me, I have no complains. She is very easy to talk to, she listens to what you have to say.

Dr. Susarla is a very attentive and thorough Doctor. Referals are given if she can't answer a question or if she just wants a second opinion. She is very honest. Her staff on the other hand, one in particular is very short, rude, inconsiderate and has no concept of the HIPA rules. She actually questioned my about meds I was taking from her desk while I was sitting in a chair, for all to hear! The doctor is great, her staff and now billing people are cause for me to find another doctor. They didnt even recieve a payment from the insurance and are demanding payment prior to me being allowed to see the doctor.

she is garbage doctor. when i went to see Dr. sasural and tell her that i am medical student. she reply me that she didn't like medicine. if she didn;t like medicine then how she is going to treat you. I would suggest that don't got to she her.

Dr S. Susarla is the nicest Dr. that you will find. She is very attentive to your problems,if she can't find the solutions she will sendreffer you to a doctor who can. She always keeps in contact with the doctors that she has reffered you to.Excellent doctor!!
