Savitri P. Skandan, MD

Dr Dkandan has been my physician for 16 years- through three totally different Tues of cancer. She is caring, thorough, always available and is part of a multidisciplinary team of physicians who share experiences and ideas. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for her and her professional ability. She is simply the best, in every way.

After moving to the area, I was in search of an oncologist. I saw this one 3x's. After being put down and embarrassed in front of her student resident, I decided to leave. I need a team player, not a pushy doctor that rolls her eyes at me. I rarely get aggravated or lose my patience...but this one presses my buttons. So we are now with the experts.........(my bad, she doesn't even specialize in my field)

Dr P pretty much sets the standard for what I expect from a doctor - Caring, concern, and taking a personal interest in the well-being of her patient. Even when delivering bad news, she did it in a way that made us feel hopeful, alive, and vital.
