Dr. Scot David Paris, MD

I have never written a review before but felt that it was necessary because my experience was so bad. I had a procedure done by “Dr.” Scot Paris, but it was not successful. When I went in for my follow up visit to tell him I was still having pain, he told me, “Well you shouldn’t be.” He went on to say that there was nothing that he could do because I shouldn’t be having pain. He was rude, arrogant and degrading. He is terrible about explaining anything and has even worse bedside manner. (He spoke to me from behind as I was kneeling at the exam table with a sheet over my backside… he didn’t even have the common sense knowledge to come around and speak to my face or have me sit on the table face to face.) After he left the room, the nurse could see I was upset and offered several strategies to deal with the pain. I guess Dr. Paris isn’t as smart as the nurse he hired since he gave me zero strategies. Also, the receptionist was a crab and spoke openly about her political views. Finally,… I find it suspicious that a few of the 5 star ratings on another review site are from people who have the same last name as the doctor… shady shady.

Amazing Dr!!. Can't recommend him enough, 8 hours later and I'm feeling better than I have in a year in half. Dr Paris knows his stuff!. People, get your butts checked, don't suffer like I did. Make sure this is your Dr. He knows his stuff..

I made an appointment with Dr Paris to have a hernia treated. I told the nurse where it was and what I needed. She made the appointment. Upon arrival she took my co-pay and I saw Dr Paris for maybe 3 minutes. He informed me he didn't treat Hernia's that would require an overnight hospital stay and showed me to the door. Im going to complain to my insurance company. They should not pay him. What a scam

My experience with Dr. Paris was horrible. The waiting room time was 1 hr. When he saw me he did not act empathetic or at all caring. He did not explain ANYTHING to me. I asked him the questions I had and I was given curt answers that were as short as they could be. He had an arrogant manner about him. Go somewhere else!!

I went in for a consult for hemorrhoids with Dr. S. P. I was in the exam room a total of 15 mins. he could not get his scope up rectum. My insurance was billed 900.00 for nothing I subsequently went to another Colon/Rectal group in Sellersville and they had a great Dr. & staff and were able to rubber band me I had 2 procedures by them and my Insurance bill was less than Dr. P's failed (1x) attempt. If asked I would not recommend this guy ever!

I have had the occasion to see Dr Paris on two separate cases a couple of years apart and then accompanied my husband to the Dr. sometime thereafter and all of our experiences have been successful treatments without a lot of hassle.
